Postdoctoral Associate
Ali Hummos
Ali is intensely interested in understanding the basis of intelligent behavior. Ali joined the lab as a Postdoctoral Associate to work at the interface of computational neuroscience and machine learning to examine the architectural advantages of the cortico-thalamic loop. Ali studied at the University of Missouri where he completed residency in Psychiatry and a PhD in Computational Neuroscience with Prof. Satish Nair. After graduating, Ali turned to work with silicon valley startups, engineering a variety of machine learning models for visual perception and abstract reasoning.
Ali is typically sighted in the woods mountain biking, rock climbing or photographing.
