Research Associate
Jonathan Scott
Jonathan joined the lab in 2018 as a research associate. His initial work focused on developing statistical and probabalistic models to better understand the thalamocortical circuits involved in decision-making. He is also involved with experimental design and data analysis for multiple projects within the lab. Currently, Jonathan is focusing on uncovering functional and structural perturbations in the prefrontal cortex ina 22q11 deletion mouse model of schizophrenia.
Jonathan obtained his undergraduate degree in bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh, where he worked with Dr. Matthew Smith to uncover shifts of visual and motor signals in prefrontal cortex. Outside the lab, Jonathan enjoys playing board games, reading, and hiking.
